Cynoteck Participated in Dehradun Half Marathon 2019 (7th Edition)
For so many years, organization considered productivity and profits as their top priorities, ignoring the health and wellness of the employee. However, the trend is changing and companies are taking employee wellness more seriously now.
In India, generally companies do not pay emphasis on employee fitness, but Cynoteck is one of the few exceptional companies that are genuinely concerned about their employee health. The credit can be given to the CEO of the company Mr. Udit Handa, who himself is a fitness freak, actively participates in the marathon and prefer a healthy lifestyle.
Recently, Cynoteck Technology Solution Pvt. Ltd. participated in the event Dehradun half Marathon 2019 (7th Edition) on 26th May 2019 at IT Park, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
The Event was organized by Thrill Zone and the cause was ‘Run against drug abuse’. Thrill Zone is an organization working towards the establishment of running as a serious sport by means of marathons and extensive training. The Event has the following distance categories and fees.
Distance Categories and fees
1- 21 km (Half Marathon) - 1200 rupees
2- 10 km - 1000 rupees
3 - 5 km - 500 rupees
4- 5km (with Timing Chip)

For the first time in the history of running culture in India, Thrill Zone introduced weight categories in the Dehradun Half Marathon 2019.
Weight Categories (Male)- 21km
80 to 100 KG.
100+ KG.
Weight Categories (Female)- 21km
70 to 80 KG
80 to 100 KG
100+ KG
Race start time was 5.00 AM for 21Km, 5.30 for 10Km and 6.00 AM for 5 Km.
There were around 8-10 water/Energy Drink station on route for Runners and Medical support was also provided for the participants. At the end of the event, trophies were given to the winners.
It was completely a fun-filled day and cynoteck team members enjoyed a lot and felt motivated after participating in the event.
