Founded in 1907 by Julius Lowy, Julius Lowy Frame and restoring company is recognized as the country’s leading fine art services firm, offering fine art conservation and restoration services, and an extensive collection of antique frames, reproductions, and modern frames. It comprised over 4000 frames ranging from the extremely rare 16th-century renaissance through 20th-century Arts & Crafts models. 

Project Brief

Lowy 1907 is an established fine art conversations studio in New York City which has a long history of preserving works of art. Being an established company locally the Lowy owner wanted to establish their online presence in the rest of the world. The services they offer are Art Conversations, Art preservations, Art replications, Art logistics, and House Calls which they wanted to offer from their official website as well.  

Solution Delivered

Cynoteck was engaged in building a web platform solution to help Lowy Frame’s Online Presence.

Designed and developed a highly flexible platform that features Lowy frames. UI/UX designed implementation to develop the engaging design with WooCommerce.

Seamless migration and transition of data from an old database to a new AWS database server.

Ensuring flexible data backup plan for restoring data daily. Also, smooth interaction and implementation between three technologies Java, CodeIgniter, and WordPress.

Creating flexible custom solutions like Virtual framing set-up on your home/office wall, uploading artwork, etc.
