ALTA Environmental Corporation (ALTA) provides environmental consulting services in the focused areas of site environmental evaluations, environmental regulatory compliance, and water supply investigation and evaluation. ALTA’s clientele include real property owners, private sector industries, institutions, municipalities and a tribal nation.

Business Situation

It was required to display user data in form of Bar charts and reports. Client needed a functionality to display all related data reports for selected salesperson showing his Activities, Billings performance etc. It was also needed to backup data to show it in reports month-wise in order to show salesperson’s performance for that particular month in history.

Cynoteck Solution
We created a custom visual force page to display all tabular and chart reports, fetching data from salesperson object which contains the backup of data for each salesperson. All data and goals calculations were done in page controller. Also, created a scheduler which run every month to take backup of that of that month’s Activities of each Salesperson.

Use of charts facilitate comparison of data over a period of time and helps to calculate user efficiency and performance by comparing actual data against goals. This also let managers check and keep track of salesperson’s performance month-wise. A centralised place to keep track of all data for salespersons.
